Frequently Asked Questions

Thinking about joining a class but have a question or two first? You'll probably find the answer here. If not, just email jessicafelixdance@outlook.com and Jessica will be happy to help.

I've never danced before. Can I still come?

Yes! Please do. The weekly Cheer and Pom classes are open level and no experience is needed to attend. Pop-ups range from beginner basics to advanced and will be labelled accrodingly. The Ballet and Contemporary classes range from beginner-friendly to advanced, and will be clearly labelled in the class description. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Everyone starts somewhere, and the whole point is to move and have fun.

How do I book and pay for a class?

Find a class on the schedule, add it to your cart, and head to checkout. Payment is taken securely online by Stripe. Your card details never touch this site. Once your payment goes through, your spot is held and you'll get a confirmation by email.

Can I pay for a few classes or a whole month at once?

Yes. You can add multiple classes to your cart in one booking, and there are monthly passes. Look for the bundle options on the schedule. A bundle covers a set of classes in one payment, which can work out cheaper than booking each class separately.

What should I wear and bring?

Wear whatever you can move in. Athletic wear is perfect. You'll generally dance in socks or barefoot for contemporary and technique, and ballet shoes are needed for the ballet class. For Pom class please bring a pair of clean runners, poms are provided for your first cheer class. Bring a water bottle and come ready to move.

Where do classes take place?

Classes are held in Vancouver, BC. The exact location is shown on each class on the schedule. Make sure to check the details for the class you've booked before you head out.

What happens if I need to miss a class?

Life happens. If you've already booked and can't make it, let Jessica know and she'll do her best to sort it out.

See the refund and cancellation policy for the details, including what happens with short-notice cancellations. As a general rule, cancelling with enough notice (at least 48 hours before the class) qualifies for a refund or credit, and if Jessica has to cancel a class you always get the full amount back.

Is there anything else I should know?

The best way to get a straight answer to any question that isn't here is to ask. Email jessicafelixdance@outlook.com and Jessica will get back to you as soon as possible.
